     This course CS875-1602C-01 Futuring & Innovation at Colorado Technical University is about developing the skills in futuring through a variety of techniques. It introduces formal methods of innovation and diffusion of innovation with six distinguished objectives:

     1. Identify the means through which innovation is diffused within an organization or society.

     2. Articulate the social (human) impact of change within an organization.

     3, Develop a social-technical plan for your organization.

     4. Identify organizational structures that support and hinder future changes.

     5. Make informed predictions on industry trends and future directions.

     6. Build a foundation and/or framework for future research, and technological applications.
